Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Implement sales strategies to enhance performance within the designated region.

• Achieve overall sales goals and targets for key growth products.

• Introduce new products and service offerings while generating leads for new equipment.

• Exhibit solution-selling skills and possess relevant technical expertise.

• Establish and nurture relationships with targeted veterinary clinics and personnel.

• Adhere to Zoetis promotional guidelines during customer interactions.

• Create and execute territory business plans and manage resource allocation.

• Utilize Zoetis resources effectively and follow up to maximize return on investment (ROI).

• Fulfill field activity expectations, including sales calls and medical education initiatives.

• Develop and implement account- and veterinarian-level call cycles.

• Collaborate professionally with colleagues at Zoetis Petcare, while upholding standards of integrity, compliance, administration, and teamwork.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is mandatory.

• 3-10 years of proven and successful consultative sales experience.

• Demonstrated success in previous positions by creatively identifying opportunities or resolving issues to enhance sales performance.

• Experience in Animal Health and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.

• Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make considered decisions based on relevant information.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and capable of learning Zoetis systems.

• Competence in managing assigned expense budgets.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as part of a close-knit team.

• Openness to accept and integrate feedback.

• Willingness to travel and work some evenings as required by the role.

• Candidate must reside within the territory.

• Must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
