This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Implement sales strategies to optimize performance within the designated territory.
• Achieve overall sales targets and key growth-product quotas through effective demand generation.
• Introduce new products and service offerings while generating leads for new equipment.
• Exhibit solution-selling skills and develop technical and veterinary practice expertise.
• Establish relationships with targeted hospitals and personnel, ensuring account relevance and access.
• Engage with customers in accordance with Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Create and execute territory business plans and resource allocations to enhance ROI.
• Fulfill field activity expectations, which include sales calls and medical education programs.
• Develop and implement account- and veterinarian-level call cycles.
• Collaborate effectively with Zoetis Petcare colleagues while adhering to integrity, compliance, administrative, communication, and teamwork standards.
• Oversee assigned expense budgets and utilize analytics and insights to inform decisions and tactical execution.
• Travel and work evenings for educational programs as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) is required.
• 3–10 years of proven and successful consultative sales experience.
• Previous achievements in creatively identifying opportunities or resolving issues to enhance sales performance.
• A change-agent mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Proficiency in utilizing analytics and insights for decision-making and tactical execution.
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
• Capability to manage assigned expense budgets effectively.
• Highly focused and results-driven; adept at identifying goals, prioritizing tasks, and addressing issues proactively.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a closely-knit team environment; self-motivated.
• Experience in Animal Health and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
• Openness to receiving and integrating feedback.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Capacity to exercise sound judgment and make well-informed, fair decisions based on relevant information.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn Zoetis systems.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings as necessary.
• Must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
