This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Achieve overall sales targets and quotas, particularly for key growth products, through demand generation in the designated region.
• Introduce new products and services while generating leads for new equipment.
• Exhibit solution-selling skills effectively.
• Cultivate and showcase technical expertise, verbal proficiency, and veterinary practice knowledge.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with targeted hospitals and personnel.
• Engage with customers in accordance with Zoetis promotional standards.
• Create and implement territory business plans and allocate resources to optimize return on investment.
• Fulfill field activity requirements, including sales calls and participation in medical education programs.
• Develop and implement account-level and veterinarian-level call cycles.
• Collaborate professionally with Zoetis Petcare colleagues while adhering to integrity, compliance, communication, administrative, and teamwork standards.
• Operate as a field-based Account Manager for the US Petcare Division, managing the assigned territory.
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is required.
• 3-10 years of proven and successful consultative sales experience.
• Demonstrated success in previous roles, including creatively identifying opportunities or solving challenges to enhance sales performance.
• Ability to leverage analytics and insights for improved decision-making and tactical execution.
• Strong follow-through and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to manage assigned expense budgets effectively.
• Highly focused and results-driven; adept at identifying goals and priorities while addressing issues promptly.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment; self-motivated.
• Experience in Animal Health and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
• Openness to receive and integrate feedback.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make fair, informed decisions based on relevant information.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and capable of learning Zoetis systems.
• Willingness to travel and work some evenings as necessary.
• Candidates must reside within the designated territory.
