This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Leverage solution selling, territory management, and business planning skills to implement strategies and enhance sales performance within the designated region.
• Achieve overall sales targets and key product growth quotas through demand generation in the specified area.
• Introduce new products and service offerings while generating leads for new equipment.
• Showcase solution-selling abilities and cultivate relevant technical knowledge, verbal communication skills, and veterinary practice expertise.
• Establish and maintain relationships with targeted hospitals and personnel to enhance relevance and access to accounts.
• Engage with customers in accordance with all Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Create and implement a Territory Business Plan and allocate resources to maximize return on investment.
• Meet field activity expectations, which include conducting sales calls and investing in medical education initiatives.
• Develop and execute call cycles at both the account and veterinarian level to fulfill reach and frequency objectives.
• Collaborate professionally with Zoetis Petcare colleagues while adhering to integrity, compliance, administrative, communication, and teamwork standards.
• A bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is required.
• 3-10 years of proven and successful consultative sales experience.
• A history of success in previous roles, including creatively identifying opportunities or addressing challenges to drive sales performance.
• Exemplifies the qualities of a change agent, a continuous learner, and someone who encourages self and others to think beyond conventional wisdom.
• Utilizes analytics and insights to improve decision-making and tactical execution.
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
• Capability to manage assigned expense budgets.
• Highly focused and results-driven, with the ability to set goals and priorities while resolving issues at early stages.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment; self-starter mentality.
• Experience in Animal Health and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
• Willingness to accept and implement feedback.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make thoughtful, fair decisions based on relevant information.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn Zoetis systems.
• Willingness to travel and work some evenings as required by the position.
