This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Achieve overall sales targets and quotas, particularly for key growth products, through demand generation within the designated geographic area.
• Successfully introduce new products and service offerings while generating leads for new equipment.
• Exhibit capabilities in solution selling.
• Develop and showcase technical expertise, verbal proficiency, and knowledge of veterinary practices.
• Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with targeted hospitals and personnel to enhance relevance and access within each account.
• Engage with customers in line with Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Create and implement territory business plans and resource allocation strategies.
• Utilize Zoetis resources effectively and follow up to maximize return on investment.
• Fulfill field activity expectations, including sales calls and participation in medical education programs.
• Design and execute account- and veterinarian-level call cycles to achieve reach and frequency goals.
• Collaborate professionally with Zoetis Petcare colleagues while adhering to standards of integrity, compliance, conduct, communication, administrative duties, and teamwork.
• Oversee assigned expense budgets and work autonomously as well as within a close-knit team environment.
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is mandatory.
• 3-10 years of proven and successful consultative sales experience.
• A history of success in previous roles, including the ability to creatively identify opportunities or resolve issues to enhance sales performance.
• Capability to leverage analytics and insights to improve decision-making and tactical execution.
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
• Experience in managing assigned expense budgets.
• Highly goal-oriented and results-focused, with the ability to identify objectives and priorities and address issues in their early stages.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a close team; self-motivated.
• Knowledge of animal health and small animal veterinary medicine.
• Openness to receiving and integrating feedback.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make fair, informed decisions based on relevant information.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn Zoetis systems.
• Willingness to travel and work some evenings as required by the position.
