This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Implement strategies to enhance sales performance within the designated territory.
• Achieve overall sales goals and growth-product targets through effective demand generation.
• Introduce new products and service offerings while generating leads for new equipment.
• Exhibit solution-selling skills and develop technical/veterinary practice knowledge.
• Establish and nurture relationships with targeted hospitals and relevant personnel.
• Engage with customers in alignment with Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Create and implement territory business plans and resource allocation to optimize ROI.
• Fulfill field activity expectations, including sales calls and investment in medical education programs.
• Develop and execute calling cycles at the account and veterinarian levels.
• Collaborate professionally with Zoetis Petcare colleagues while adhering to integrity, compliance, administrative, communication, and teamwork standards.
• Travel and work occasional evenings for educational programs.
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is mandatory.
• 3-10 years of proven consultative sales experience.
• Proven success in previous positions, including the ability to creatively identify opportunities or resolve challenges to boost sales performance.
• Experience in Animal Health and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
• Capability to leverage analytics and insights to improve decision-making and tactical execution.
• Ability to manage assigned expense budgets effectively.
• Results-driven and highly focused, capable of identifying goals and priorities while resolving issues in their early stages.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as within a close-knit team environment; self-motivated.
• Willingness and capacity to accept and integrate feedback.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make fair, informed decisions based on relevant information.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn Zoetis systems.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings as the position requires.
• Candidates must reside within the territory.
• All applicants must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
