This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Leverage solution selling, territory management, and strategic business planning skills to enhance sales performance in the designated area.
• Achieve overall sales targets and product growth goals through effective demand generation.
• Introduce new products and service offerings while generating leads for new equipment.
• Exhibit solution-selling expertise and develop relevant technical knowledge alongside veterinary practice insights.
• Cultivate relationships with targeted hospitals and personnel to ensure account relevance and access are maintained and expanded.
• Engage with customers in accordance with all Zoetis promotional standards.
• Create and implement a Territory Business Plan along with resource allocation strategies to optimize ROI.
• Fulfill field activity expectations, which include sales calls and participation in medical education initiatives.
• Develop and implement call cycles at both the account and veterinarian levels.
• Collaborate professionally with Zoetis Petcare colleagues while adhering to standards of integrity, compliance, administration, communication, conduct, and teamwork.
• Travel within the assigned territory and occasionally work evenings for educational events.
• A bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is required.
• 3-10 years of proven and successful consultative sales experience.
• A track record of creatively identifying opportunities or resolving challenges to enhance sales performance in previous roles.
• Experience in Animal Health and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
• Proficient in using analytics and insights to improve decision-making and tactical execution.
• Capable of managing assigned expense budgets effectively.
• Highly focused and results-driven, with the ability to set goals and priorities while addressing issues in their early stages.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as within a close-knit team environment; self-motivated.
• Open to receiving and integrating feedback.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Able to exercise sound judgment and make fair, thoughtful decisions based on relevant information.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and willing to learn Zoetis systems.
• Willingness to travel and occasionally work evenings as required by the role.
• Candidates should reside within the designated territory.
• All applicants must have or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
