This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Achieve overall sales targets and quotas, including those for key growth products, within the designated region.
• Introduce new products and service offerings while generating leads for new equipment.
• Exhibit solution-selling skills effectively.
• Cultivate and demonstrate relevant technical expertise, verbal fluency, and knowledge of veterinary practices.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with targeted hospitals and personnel to enhance account relevance and access.
• Engage with customers in line with Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Develop and implement territory business plans along with resource allocation strategies.
• Utilize Zoetis resources and conduct follow-ups to optimize ROI.
• Fulfill field activity expectations, including sales calls and investment in medical education programs.
• Create and execute account- and veterinarian-level call cycles.
• Collaborate professionally with Zoetis Petcare colleagues while adhering to compliance, conduct, communication, administration, and teamwork expectations.
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is required.
• 3-10 years of proven and successful consultative sales experience.
• A track record of creatively identifying opportunities or resolving challenges to enhance sales performance in previous roles.
• Proficiency in utilizing analytics and insights to improve decision-making and tactical execution.
• Strong follow-through and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to manage assigned expense budgets effectively.
• Highly focused and results-driven, with the ability to identify objectives and priorities while addressing issues at their inception.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a close-knit team environment; self-motivated.
• Experience in Animal Health and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
• Openness to accept and integrate feedback.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Capacity to exercise sound judgment and make thoughtful and fair decisions based on relevant information.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and willing to learn Zoetis systems.
• Willingness to travel and work some evenings as required.
• Must have or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
