This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary daily point of contact for a designated portfolio of client accounts.
• Foster strong client relationships and ensure clients are kept up to date.
• Participate in and lead weekly status calls with clients.
• Document actions, decisions, and subsequent steps.
• Generate weekly status reports for clients and internal management.
• Monitor deliverables, timelines, and overall account health.
• Oversee and coordinate 1099 contractors in areas such as business development, production, market research, and technical writing.
• Allocate tasks, establish priorities, and uphold quality and deadline standards.
• Manage the client portfolio and use-case architecture.
• Convert client objectives and requirements into suitable scopes and deliverables.
• Address and resolve client issues, escalating to leadership when necessary.
• Facilitate delivery across the production layer.
• Collaborate with leadership on account strategies, renewals, and closures.
• Supervise the efforts of production analysts, technical writers, and assigned 1099 contractors.
• Report directly to the President.
• Over 7 years of experience in account management, client success, project management, or a similar client-facing operational role.
• Required experience in government contracting.
• Strongly preferred background in professional services or a related delivery environment.
• Demonstrated capability to manage contractors or cross-functional teams and maintain multiple workstreams on schedule.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in leading client calls and crafting clear status reports.
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with a keen attention to detail and strong follow-through.
• Composed and credible under pressure.
• Familiarity with state and local (SLED) procurement, contracts, or compliance is a plus.
• Experience supporting business development and engaging in non-traditional contracting practices (SBIRs, OTAs) is an added advantage.
• Previous experience managing a book of accounts is a plus.
• Availability that aligns with client call schedules.
• Comfort with asynchronous hand-offs and providing clear written instructions.
• Must be capable of collaborating with offshore production support.
