Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Organize all components of individual travel, including domestic air, hotel, and car bookings using GDS.

• Coordinate all elements of athletic team travel, encompassing group contract air, hotel blocks, and charter bus arrangements.

• Compute and execute exchanges for both group and individual travel.

• Oversee group hotel and bus contracts along with invoicing to adhere to monthly deadlines.

• Deliver outstanding customer service to both external and internal clients via phone and email.

• Manage client relationships related to assigned responsibilities.

• Provide emergency and after-hours support to travelers, particularly during peak event months for clients.

• Facilitate communication regarding traveler itineraries and any modifications with the client.

• Utilize airline terminology, codes, fare basis, airline regulations, tariffs, resource guides, books, and industry contacts effectively.

• Execute precise and prompt data management tasks.

• Stay updated on airline rules, regulations, and current industry developments.

• Maintain a professional rapport with clients while representing the Company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships.

• Familiarity with Sabre or a comparable GDS.

• Understanding and experience in the airline sector.

• Experience in individual and group booking processes.

• Knowledge of visa and legal document requirements for various countries.

• Proficiency in general office software applications, including Microsoft Office 365.

• Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Capacity to deliver accurate results under pressure and meet ticketing deadlines.

• Ability to perform all essential duties at the highest standards.
