This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Establish and nurture enduring relationships with designated clients.
• Perform account assessments and client interactions to evaluate satisfaction, identify potential risks, and discover opportunities for renewal, retention, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Increase account revenue by aligning client requirements with Netagen’s offerings.
• Act as the principal point of contact, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Operations, Shared Organizational Services, Sales Design, and Sales Support to facilitate service delivery and develop solutions.
• Oversee account renewals, contract modifications, and service adjustments while ensuring accurate documentation is maintained.
• Keep client, opportunity, pipeline, and activity records updated in CRM systems; generate reports and forecasts.
• Monitor account health, recognize retention risks, and work to reduce churn.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, competitors, and emerging technologies.
• Engage in professional development, training, and industry events.
• Contribute to sales forecasting and business strategy planning.
• Meet or surpass revenue, renewal, and account growth targets.
• Create and implement account plans for key clients.
• Identify, qualify, and cultivate new customer prospects while enhancing existing accounts.
• A university or college degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in account management, customer success, or inside sales.
• Ideally, experience within the technology or telecommunications sector.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an advantage.
• A demonstrated history of maintaining client relationships and achieving sales or retention goals.
• Strong consultative and value-driven selling skills.
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling, Sandler, or similar frameworks.
• Capable of prospecting, qualifying, and developing new customer opportunities.
• Skilled in expanding existing accounts through renewal, upsell, and cross-sell strategies.
• Proficient in developing account plans, mapping stakeholders and decision processes, identifying economic buyers, and managing compelling events.
• Experience in building and managing a qualified pipeline while maintaining accurate CRM data.
• Ability to forecast account growth, renewal risks, and new business opportunities.
• Proficient in engaging with technical contacts, business leaders, procurement teams, and executive decision-makers.
• Strong skills in discovery, active listening, objection handling, commercial negotiation, and presenting business cases.
• Comfortable learning about and selling technology, telecommunications, managed services, connectivity, collaboration, or related business solutions.
• Capable of translating product, service, and market knowledge into tailored client recommendations.
