This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.
• Take ownership and drive growth for essential convenience retail accounts.
• Develop and implement joint business plans tailored to each customer.
• Enhance core distribution channels and boost in-store display initiatives.
• Launch innovative products across designated outlets utilizing the Convenience Customer Marketing Agreement.
• Forge strategic partnerships with customers, distributor allies, and cross-functional internal teams.
• Manage new distribution gains, create shopper marketing programs, oversee merchandising, shelf management, and execute national sales initiatives.
• Leverage syndicated data, shopper insights, and category trends to uncover opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Coordinate stakeholders to ensure a cohesive sales strategy aligned with key commercial objectives.
• 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing sales position within the FMCG/CPG sector, with a demonstrated record of sales and negotiation success.
• Proven capability to develop and implement impactful selling strategies that enhance revenue and market share.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and act on syndicated data such as Nielsen/Circana.
• Effective negotiator and influencer.
• Proven ability to build relationships with customers and distributors.
• Familiarity with various customer go-to-market strategies, organizational frameworks, and business practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• History of achieving results, creatively solving problems, and acting with urgency.
• Travel requirement: 25–30%.
• Must be eligible to work from a New England location: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine.
