Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Serve the designated client portfolio to foster strong, long-lasting client relationships.

• Collaborate with designated client service representatives to streamline workflow for clients and carriers.

• Oversee bid processes for existing clients regarding supplemental and group health products.

• Engage with clients during renewal processes and provide recommendations that align with their best interests.

• Act as the intermediary between clients and external vendors.

• Manage client accounts in conjunction with the HPS account team.

• Prepare materials for group meetings and enrollment sessions.

• Organize, plan, and facilitate group meetings and employee enrollment activities.

• Implement changes to benefit plans as requested by clients.

• Address and resolve escalated issues, including claims and eligibility, in collaboration with third-party vendors.

• Maintain prompt communication with clients through email, internet, and phone.

• Stay informed about developments from carriers and changes in federal/state laws.

• Execute other duties as necessary or required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Life & Health customer service is required.

• General Lines - Life, Accident, Health, and HMO license is necessary.

• Capability to lift 25 pounds.

• Frequent use of sight for reading documents and computer displays.

• Regular use of hearing and speech for communication via telephone and in person.

• Repetitive hand movements, including typing, writing, and using a 10-key keypad.

• Ability to walk, bend, sit, reach, and stretch in various directions.
