This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Identify and secure new business prospects within both existing and new accounts throughout Iowa.
• Direct sales efforts towards multi-specialty ambulatory surgery centers and hospitals.
• Act as a clinical partner and reliable advisor to clients, collaborating with Sterile Processing Department personnel.
• Build and nurture customer relationships to enhance overall financial performance within the designated territory.
• Increase market share through assessments of customer utilization and expansion of new footprints.
• Cultivate customer advocates for ASP technologies.
• Forge connections with hospital clients where surgical procedures are either performed or influenced.
• Anticipate client requirements and create innovative workflow solutions along with new revenue streams.
• Identify business drivers, construct value propositions, pinpoint decision makers, and position solutions across various hospital customer types and contact points.
• Deliver product demonstrations, training sessions, and in-services tailored to customer needs.
• Set account call frequencies that promote customer relationships and help achieve sales quotas.
• Develop and execute sales strategies and plans for local hospitals and Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) accounts.
• Implement local execution of strategic plans devised by corporate account teams.
• Update sales action plans and forecasts for Territory Quarterly Reviews and Business Plans.
• Collaborate on business initiatives with Service, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and other internal teams.
• Utilize tools, systems, and dashboards on a daily basis to track performance metrics and maintain a comprehensive one-year sales funnel.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of product features, benefits, applications, and market dynamics.
• Engage in relevant local and regional professional organizations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of sales experience, or 2 years of medical sales experience, or 1 year of sales experience combined with 1 year in the infection prevention industry.
• Proven success in launching new products, increasing product utilization, and/or defending business against competition.
• Experience in prospecting for new business and making cold calls.
• Preferred experience in sales to hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs), and Inpatient/Outpatient Endoscopy Suites.
• Must possess a valid driver's license issued in the United States.
• Willingness to travel as required by the position.
• Must reside in or be open to relocating within the designated territory of Iowa.
