This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance and training for products and services related to Job Order Contracting (JOC) for clients within a designated geographic region.

• Develop and maintain schedules of detailed activities aimed at achieving procurement goals within defined time frames.

• Execute and follow project procedures from the identification phase through to construction execution for various Job Orders.

• Support the development and evaluation of project scopes of work.

• Assess proposals and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

• Oversee activities from notice to proceed through to construction execution.

• Interpret and comprehend construction plans and specifications.

• Conduct thorough reviews of price proposals.

• Create and evaluate detailed construction line-item proposals.

• Educate contractors on Gordian software and client procedures.

• Assist in the bidding process for client contracts.

• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to ensure project completion within budget and on schedule.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction procurement, construction management, or general contracting, particularly in facilities and road construction.

• In-depth knowledge and experience in commercial public construction operations, pricing, and contracting, including scope development and estimating/price proposal creation.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently, both in development and in the field.

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and team collaboration skills.

• Flexibility, strategic thinking, problem-solving aptitude, goal-oriented mindset, client-focused, and results-driven.

• Ability to meet deadlines set by clients and the corporation.

• Proficient time management skills.

• Self-driven; performs well both independently and within a team environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

• Capability to create and produce custom tracking documents and reports.

• Background in construction documentation and administration is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Experience with Job Order Contracting or IDIQ is required.

• Comprehensive knowledge of various public procurement and project delivery methods and requirements.

• Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.
