This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the relationships with assigned strategic accounts in Canada.
• Collaborate with management to establish strategic objectives for accounts.
• Participate in daily operations as part of the Canadian sales team.
• Uphold and promote corporate values along with brand strategy.
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of work.
• Create and execute sales plans for the territory that align with established goals.
• Segment customer interactions to focus on the most significant opportunities.
• Develop and enhance account plans for retail customers.
• Relay market trends and customer insights to commercial leadership.
• Build and nurture relationships with retail-level customers.
• Prepare, rehearse, and present information in both virtual and in-person formats.
• Utilize Counselor Sales techniques, encompassing pre-call planning, openings, execution, and follow-up.
• Maintain retail-level forecasts to uncover opportunities and address gaps.
• Identify and cultivate new business prospects.
• Manage interactions between customers and FMC.
• Observe competitor actions and devise responsive strategies.
• Implement sales strategies targeting distributor accounts in the territory.
• Ensure alignment of sales goals and forecasts with financial objectives.
• Control expenses to enhance ROI and meet territory targets.
• Concentrate on employee development to boost overall skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Business, ideally in the agricultural sector.
• 5-7 years of experience in agriculture within Western Canada.
• Proven track record in effective customer relationship management.
• Strong business insight and leadership capabilities.
• Detail-oriented, results-driven self-starter with excellent follow-up abilities.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Documented success in achieving sales targets.
• Proven ability to solve problems and offer solutions for customers.
• Strong financial knowledge is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Well-developed organizational and planning competencies.
• CCA, P.Ag, or similar designation is a plus.
• Majority of travel within the territory, with an expectation of 5-10% nights away, including attendance at Canadian Team meetings.
