This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage primary relationships for a portfolio of Higher Education clients.
• Drive commercial results, including renewals and growth bookings.
• Lead strategic account planning and ensure executive alignment.
• Guarantee that every client participates in at least one in-person event annually.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews aimed at assessing business value, strategic planning, and success metrics.
• Manage and mitigate risks associated with accounts.
• Surpass booking targets and oversee the complete renewal process.
• Identify revenue opportunities and accurately forecast them within the CRM.
• Navigate complex solution sales through the entire sales cycle.
• Develop and uphold account plans for designated accounts.
• Cultivate and expand executive relationships across approximately 50–90 accounts.
• Hold regular client meetings to strengthen relationships and promote sales opportunities.
• Align D2L products and services with the clients’ business objectives.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to enhance product adoption and value realization strategies.
• Attend sales meetings, product seminars, conferences, and trade shows.
• Travel up to 30% of the time (1–2 times monthly).
• Stay updated on industry trends and continuously enhance knowledge through self-learning, Revenue Enablement initiatives, and training.
• A minimum of 2 years in a sales-focused, client-facing account management position.
• Proven experience in SaaS or complex solution sales within EdTech, HCM, or eLearning is preferred.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools.
• A track record of successfully meeting assigned quotas.
• Experience with enterprise-level web-based applications.
• Background in learning-related enterprise systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and ability to travel freely between the US and Canada or other countries.
• Valid passport required.
• Bachelor’s degree is recommended; technical, business, or education-related fields are ideal.
• Strong understanding of the North American Higher Education system.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and other sales tools.
• Skills in executive alignment and multi-threading.
• Experience in strategic account planning and risk management.
• Working knowledge of web and database technology.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in achieving business objectives.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both in-person and virtually.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Capability to create and present solutions that align with client business goals.
• Solid skills in account planning and forecasting.
• Experience in value-based, consultative selling methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Solution Selling.
