This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle, which encompasses prospecting, relationship development, proposal creation, closing deals, and follow-up after the sale.
• Seek out and develop new business prospects while also nurturing and expanding relationships with current customers.
• Establish and preserve a robust sales pipeline while accurately predicting performance within the territory.
• Foster long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs and suggesting suitable solutions.
• Transform leads into enduring customer relationships through proactive engagement and regular follow-ups.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients through phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and face-to-face visits.
• Address customer inquiries related to product features, pricing, purchasing options, and technical support.
• Keep precise records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the CRM system.
• Engage with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Attend sales meetings and participate in training sessions.
• Travel to meet clients and attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned or necessary.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven field sales experience managing a designated territory.
• Strong capability to cultivate customer relationships and create new business opportunities.
• Proven experience in managing a sales pipeline and consistently achieving or surpassing sales objectives.
• Excellent account management, relationship-building, and consultative sales skills.
• Ability to manage a geographic territory and travel frequently to customer locations.
• Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are required.
• Moderate travel, up to 25%, within a multi-state territory is necessary.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, education, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in selling to the education sector is preferred.
• Familiarity with education purchasing processes and institutional buying cycles is advantageous.
• Experience in selling within grant-funded purchasing environments is a plus.
