This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Manage assigned client service deliverables independently while contributing to client strategy through analysis, recommendations, and execution.
• Work closely with Senior Account Managers and Account Managers to implement strategy deliverables for designated client accounts.
• Keep internal client documentation up to date, take ownership of tasks and deliverables, respond to client inquiries, and oversee project plans.
• Draft RFPs and RFIs, coordinate proposals from insurance carriers, create Executive Summaries, track timelines, and take part in implementation.
• Maintain current and historical plan designs, process maps, rates, plan documents, and client information within the client database.
• Conduct certificate and contract reviews, analyze plan designs, and perform benchmarking.
• Engage in client claim audits, execute audit criteria, summarize findings, and provide insights, analysis, and recommendations.
• Identify, evaluate, resolve, and escalate issues as necessary.
• Develop relationships with Account Executives, Senior Account Managers, clients, and insurance carriers.
• Counsel clients on insurance plans, assess plan options, interpret data and market benchmarks, and formulate recommendations.
• Coordinate resources to address client issues, utilizing independent judgment to prioritize needs and determine solutions.
• Attend client meetings and offer consultations.
• Leverage group insurance expertise to assist clients with inquiries regarding plans and resolve issues.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position at a comparable level within Group Insurance.
• Extensive knowledge of short term disability, long term disability, leave programs, life insurance, AD&D, voluntary benefits, as well as dental and vision.
• Strong technical understanding of contracts, plan design, claim processes, and vendor capabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and presentation skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects at once, and meet strict deadlines and turnaround demands.
• Ability to establish credibility with organizational stakeholders and clients through confident, integrity-driven communication and actions.
• Proactive, action-oriented mindset with a sense of ownership over tasks and next steps.
• Must possess an active license (Life, Accident, and Health License) or be willing to obtain it within the first 6 months of employment in the state of residence.
• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
