This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for designated customers, linking them with company resources to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

• Cultivate strategic relationships with customers, identifying their business objectives, growth strategies, and profit drivers.

• Develop and oversee business and execution plans that ensure mutual success for customers, vendor partners, and Avnet.

• Provide leadership and direction in essential customer planning and engagement efforts.

• Analyze customer needs while utilizing partner marketing programs to enhance customer solutions capabilities.

• Involve customers in joint planning that encompasses company services, programs, and supplier partnerships.

• Conduct regular business evaluations to monitor revenue and growth objectives while taking ownership of business-plan execution.

• Maintain and review sales pipelines and customer metrics; analyze outcomes and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.

• Align supplier strategies and solutions with customer needs to maximize profitable growth and expansion.

• Focus on high-potential customers and opportunities.

• Manage profitability by reducing profit leaks and maximizing gross profit margins.

• Carry out additional duties as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience, typically alongside a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience that provides comparable knowledge and job skills.

• Strong understanding of business, financials, products/services, markets, and the needs of assigned accounts.

• Awareness of emerging market trends and interdependencies that affect customers.

• Developed sales expertise across a specific portfolio of products, services, or accounts.

• Capability to function within a complex sales or account-management setting.

• Ability to independently identify, pursue, or manage large, strategically significant, or high-risk accounts/opportunities.

• Competence in setting and negotiating product/service terms.

• Skill in planning and managing a territory or account strategy.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with teams and leadership.

• Experience in direct engagement with clients and decision-makers.

• Proficiency in leading negotiations on medium-sized, complex accounts.

• Ability to navigate broad guidelines and policies to cultivate business with new and existing customers.
