This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide sales support to 401(k) Producers and deliver exceptional customer service to assigned clients.
• Oversee procurement, placement, and implementation tasks for defined contribution plans.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients and address day-to-day service issues as well as vendor management.
• Collaborate with vendors and Third Party Administrators to streamline data collection and analysis processes.
• Organize and participate in client meetings for both prospects and existing clients.
• Keep client files and due diligence documentation up to date.
• Document meeting discussions and prepare minutes for investment committees.
• Create investment reviews and materials for investment committee meetings.
• Assist in the preparation and review of plan applications and plan documents, as well as plan implementation.
• Support auditors in the preparation of Form 5500 and data collection tasks.
• Aid vendors with year-end testing data collection efforts.
• Conduct or assist with participant enrollment meetings.
• Research and support initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, compliance, and profitability.
• Complete Requests for Proposals as needed.
• Manage simple plans with less than $10 million in assets and fewer than 100 participants.
• Collect fees, reconcile accounts, and resolve outstanding balances within a 60-day timeframe post-invoicing.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data in the agency management system.
• Bachelor’s degree or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in 401(k) account management.
• Familiarity with different types of retirement plans and their operations.
• Knowledge of ERISA guidelines and regulations is essential.
• Experience working with small to mid-sized clients (fewer than 250).
• A valid Series 65 license is required.
• Securities licenses (SIE, Series 6 or 7, and 63) are preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, along with presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail is crucial.
• Ability and motivation to work independently.
• Effective time management skills.
• Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization capabilities.
• Advanced analytical skills are required.
