This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist 401(k) Producers by providing sales support and delivering customer service to designated clients
• Oversee procurement, placement, and implementation processes for defined contribution plans
• Maintain regular communication with clients and aid in daily service challenges and vendor management
• Collaborate with vendors and Third Party Administrators to streamline data collection and analysis
• Organize and participate in meetings with clients, both prospective and current
• Keep client files and due diligence documentation up to date
• Document meeting discussions and prepare minutes for investment committees
• Compile investment reviews and create materials and booklets for investment committee meetings
• Assist with plan applications, document reviews, and the implementation of plans
• Aid auditors in the preparation of Form 5500 and in data collection efforts
• Support vendors during year-end testing and data collection
• Assist with or lead participant enrollment sessions
• Provide support to the 401(k) department using general industry knowledge
• Research and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, compliance, and profitability
• Complete Requests for Proposals
• Manage straightforward plans with assets under $10 million and fewer than 100 participants
• Collect fees, reconcile accounts, and resolve outstanding balances within 60 days of billing
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of agency management system data
• Perform additional tasks as necessary
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience
• At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in 401k account management
• Familiarity with various retirement plan types and their operations
• Knowledge of ERISA guidelines and regulations
• Experience working with small to mid-sized clients (fewer than 250)
• A valid Series 65 license is required
• Securities license (SIE, Series 6 or 7 and 63) is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship-building abilities, negotiation skills, and problem-solving capabilities
