This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Expand the healing/Wound Closure platform.
• Provide surgical solutions to surgeons and decision-makers in hospital settings, focusing primarily on operating rooms.
• Oversee a designated sales territory that includes physicians and hospital institutions.
• Achieve projected targets within assigned accounts and territories.
• Prioritize tasks and make informed business decisions based on sales opportunities within accounts.
• Comprehend and demonstrate appropriate product usage to clinicians in operating room settings.
• Address customer inquiries and objections while adhering to product indications and sales training principles.
• Implement ethical, professional, concise, compliant, and persuasive sales cycles that motivate customers to take action.
• Deliver sales presentations utilizing contemporary selling techniques.
• Evaluate data and remain informed on market trends.
• Engage in business planning activities.
• Foster relationships with physicians, hospital staff, and authorized distributors.
• Organize customer education seminars as suitable.
• Adhere to safe-behavior protocols and exhibit knowledge of products, procedures, and clinical practices.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of 1 year of pertinent business experience in medical sales (including medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology) or healthcare, showcasing outstanding sales achievement.
• A valid driver's license issued in the United States.
• Preferred: Proven sales performance, account targeting, accomplishment through daily action plans, collaboration with colleagues, marketing teams, Strategic Account Managers, distributor representatives, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Preferred: Strong skills in time management and planning.
• Preferred: Experience in hospital-based pharmaceutical or medical device sales, including selling in operating rooms and to a highly educated/high-profile clientele.
• Preferred: Background in developing innovative markets.
• Preferred: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Preferred: A team-oriented approach.
