This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Expand the Healing/Wound Closure platform.
• Provide surgical solutions to surgeons and decision-makers in hospitals, primarily within the operating room environment.
• Oversee a designated sales territory that includes physicians and healthcare institutions.
• Achieve sales forecasts for assigned accounts and territories.
• Establish priorities and make informed business decisions based on sales opportunities within accounts.
• Showcase proper product usage to clinicians in the operating room.
• Address customer inquiries and objections in alignment with product indications and sales training methodologies.
• Conduct ethical, compliant, and persuasive sales cycles with professionalism.
• Perform sales presentations utilizing current selling techniques.
• Analyze data and remain informed about market trends.
• Engage in business planning and identify sales opportunities within accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with physicians, hospital personnel, and authorized distributors.
• Facilitate customer education seminars when appropriate.
• Adhere to safe-behavior standards while demonstrating product, procedural, and clinical expertise.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 1 year of relevant business experience in medical sales (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology) or healthcare, showcasing outstanding sales achievements.
• A valid driver's license issued in the United States.
• Preferred: Proven sales performance, account targeting, daily action planning, and collaboration with peers, marketing teams, Strategic Account Managers, distributor representatives, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Preferred: Strong skills in time management and planning.
• Preferred: Experience in hospital-based pharmaceutical or medical device sales, including operating room sales and product sales to highly educated/high-profile clients.
• Preferred: Background in developing new and innovative markets.
• Preferred: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
