This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Leverage expertise in SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, and observability to influence strategic choices within Splunk customers’ buying centers.
• Coordinate Splunk products, services, and solutions to align with customer strategic objectives.
• Propel incremental revenue growth, recurring revenue, customer success, and value realization.
• Maintain an extensive understanding of Splunk products, services, and solutions.
• Collaborate with portfolio sellers on go-to-market strategies, tools, and methodologies.
• Take ownership of the legal goals, create and manage the pipeline, develop the business, negotiate, and finalize deals.
• Identify opportunities and manage them through to sales completion.
• Analyze data to produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts and commitments.
• Perform business and technical evaluations.
• Identify opportunities, draft proposals, and create account plans.
• Keep abreast of cybersecurity and observability trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
• Oversee customer strategy, value, and relationships.
• Cultivate relationships with C-suite decision-makers and key stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders on industry changes, competitor risks, and customer requirements.
• Position Splunk solutions to enhance enterprise resilience and support long-term business objectives.
• Develop agreements and bundling strategies that foster customer success and increase annual contract value.
• Present quarterly business outlook proposals and prioritization frameworks.
• Integrate account strategies with Splunk's business strategy and lead incremental growth roadmaps.
• Spearhead initiatives involving sales tools, technologies, methods, and process innovations.
• Bachelor's degree with 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in consultative sales.
• Proven track record of surpassing goals and quotas.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and manage the sales cycle from lead generation through to closing.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
