This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Promote the Shield™ colorectal cancer blood test to primary care healthcare providers.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets through prospecting, relationship cultivation, and national sales tactics.
• Establish provider relationships and secure commitment for the adoption of Shield for colorectal and other cancers.
• Employ challenger selling techniques to comprehend provider needs and showcase enhanced patient outcomes and practice efficiency.
• Educate and train primary care practices to facilitate a seamless integration of Shield into their workflows.
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing, and product teams to develop sales strategies and business plans.
• Identify opportunities within the territory and create partnerships with regional and local laboratories, including phlebotomy draw agreements.
• Plan and execute the launch of new cancer screening technologies.
• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback.
• Communicate customer insights and opportunities with the Commercial Team.
• Deliver high-touch customer service and proactively address issues.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulations while managing projects and deadlines.
• At least 4 years of customer-facing healthcare sales experience in diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sales; or a minimum of 2 years of such experience combined with direct clinical patient-care experience as a registered nurse or physician assistant.
• Demonstrated history of sales success and achievement.
• Ability to engage in sales discussions, overcome objections, and align client needs with product solutions.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare provider landscape, with the ability to quickly learn and apply technical product knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Veeva, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory and occasionally nationally for sales meetings.
• Capability to critically assess and responsibly utilize AI-enabled tools in line with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Background screening, including criminal history, is required.
• Preferred: Experience with diagnostic products, blood-based testing, cancer screening, primary care providers, product launches, and high-touch customer service.
• Base salary ranging from $116,000 to $133,000 annually.
• Hybrid work model available for eligible onsite employees, including work-from-home days.
