This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Promote Guardant Health’s Shield™ colorectal cancer blood test to primary care healthcare providers.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets through prospecting, building relationships, and implementing national sales strategies.
• Cultivate provider relationships and secure commitment to adopt Shield for colorectal cancer and other types of cancer.
• Utilize challenger selling techniques to comprehend provider needs and showcase product value.
• Educate and train primary care practices on products while facilitating stakeholder adoption.
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing, and product teams to develop sales strategies and business plans.
• Identify new business opportunities within the designated territory.
• Foster partnerships with regional and local laboratories to broaden reach and establish phlebotomy draw agreements.
• Develop and implement business plans to support the launch of cancer screening technologies.
• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback.
• Report insights and opportunities to the Commercial Team and leadership.
• Provide high-touch customer service and proactively address issues throughout the sales process.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulations while managing projects and deadlines.
• Minimum of 4 years of customer-facing sales experience in the healthcare sector (diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical sales), OR at least 2 years of customer-facing healthcare sales experience combined with direct clinical patient-care experience as a registered nurse or physician assistant.
• Demonstrated history of sales success and achievement.
• Capability to engage in sales conversations, overcome objections, and align client needs with product offerings.
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare provider landscape.
• Ability to swiftly learn and apply technical product knowledge.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Veeva, or similar platforms.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory and occasionally nationally for sales meetings.
• Ability to demonstrate curiosity, sound judgment, and responsible use of AI-enabled tools, in accordance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Background screening, including criminal history, is required.
• Preferred: Experience with diagnostic products, particularly blood-based testing or cancer screening products, directed at primary care providers.
• Preferred: Experience in planning and executing healthcare or diagnostic product launches.
• Familiarity with the primary care landscape in the assigned territory is a plus.
• Base salary range of $116,000–$133,000 per year.
