This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.
• Promote Teaching Strategies' comprehensive range of products and services within early childhood markets.
• Identify, direct, and coordinate sales opportunities with assistance from internal teams.
• Develop expertise in Teaching Strategies' offerings, services, and the competitive landscape of early childhood development.
• Meet established sales revenue targets for the designated territory.
• Contribute to the formulation and execution of a strategic sales plan.
• Discover and address customer and prospect needs through collaborative relationships and effective solution delivery.
• Engage in new license, upsell, and marketing campaigns to identify business opportunities.
• Qualify leads and collaborate with the field sales team throughout the complete sales cycle, or manage the entire sales cycle for specific customer segments.
• Strategically and creatively manage the opportunity pipeline.
• Utilize Salesforce to monitor pipeline data and track sales progress.
• Foster customer relationships and relay customer feedback effectively.
• Maintain regular communication with the Manager, sales team, and territory clients.
• Follow up on communications via phone and email, documenting all activities.
• Travel strategically to meet clients within the assigned territory as required.
• Participate in occasional in-person team, department, and company meetings domestically.
• 2-4 years of sales experience with a proven track record; experience in education and/or technology sales is highly preferred.
• Proficient in market analysis and managing a sales pipeline.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM solutions is highly advantageous.
• Ability to adapt a work schedule to fit an assigned territory.
• Mastery of effective selling techniques, including listening, identifying needs, responding to inquiries, proposing solutions, and closing sales.
• Proven capability to generate new business and build relationships.
• Understanding of educational frameworks and the ability to sell to various decision-makers at different levels is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
