This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Achieve targeted revenue goals for the Protein Diagnostic Division's oncology and special protein offerings.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within Laboratories and Health Systems.
• Enhance and expand relationships with existing customer accounts.
• Formulate and execute strategic sales initiatives.
• Oversee key account relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction through a consultative sales approach.
• Deliver customized scientific product and service solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Engage in customer visits and virtual discussions as a trusted advisor.
• Create and implement strategies to boost test utilization and expand test menus.
• Articulate the value of testing to executives and laboratory management.
• Increase market share in oncology and special protein sectors by converting competitors through purchase, lease, and placement options.
• Lead instrument proposal efforts and collaborate with Area Sales and Key Account Managers on strategic objectives.
• Organize demonstrations of new instruments for potential customers.
• Oversee customer contract renewals from initiation to completion.
• Meet established growth targets and drive outstanding results.
• Mitigate competitive threats and maintain market position.
• Coordinate sales and marketing resources for ongoing growth.
• Partner on new product launches and instrument go-live events.
• Conduct regular Customer Business Reviews to pinpoint growth and clinical/laboratory utilization opportunities.
• Educate clinicians and customers on optimal patient care and clinical insights derived from testing.
• Provide business insights and cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
• Serve as the main contact between customers and marketing, commercial operations, and executive leadership.
• Utilize Salesforce.com to track sales activities and maintain current records of accounts and opportunities.
• At least three years of sales experience in Laboratory, Medical Device, or Diagnostics Sales is essential.
• A Bachelor's degree in a scientific field is highly preferred, or equivalent education and work experience.
• Experience in Capital Sales is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong strategic selling and complex sales skills are required.
• Technical knowledge and the ability to comprehend customer applications and workflows are necessary.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain customer relationships across all levels.
• Proficient in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and MS Office suite.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Results-driven with a demonstrated history of meeting sales objectives.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a matrix environment.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% within the assigned territory.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are an asset.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening.
• Residency within the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, or Austin, Texas area is required.
• Capability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
• Standard Monday–Friday work schedule.
