This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Formulate and execute strategies and tactics aimed at enhancing test utilization and expanding the test menu.
• Communicate the advantages of testing to executives and laboratory management teams.
• Increase market share in oncology and special proteins by converting competitors through purchase, lease, and placement options.
• Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager and Key Account Manager on strategic objectives and instrument proposals.
• Oversee demonstrations of instruments for new customers.
• Manage customer contract renewals from initiation to completion.
• Meet set growth targets and contribute to revenue generation.
• Safeguard against competitive threats and maintain market position.
• Coordinate sales and marketing resources to ensure ongoing growth.
• Work with cross-functional teams on the implementation of new products and instrument launches.
• Conduct Customer Business Reviews to pinpoint growth opportunities and enhance clinical/laboratory utilization.
• Provide education to clinicians on clinical insights and optimal patient care utilizing the test portfolio.
• Foster customer retention, improve relationships, and cultivate Key Opinion Leaders.
• Act as the main point of contact between customers and Commercial personnel.
• Utilize Salesforce.com to track sales activities and maintain up-to-date account and opportunity records.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Life Sciences or Business.
• At least three years of sales experience in Laboratory, Medical Device, or Diagnostics Sales; or one year in a technical support science role related to medical and diagnostic sales, along with two years of sales experience in those sectors.
• Capital Sales experience is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong skills in strategic selling and managing complex sales processes.
• Candidates must reside within the Ohio and Kentucky territory.
• The position requires over 75% travel, including overnight stays.
