This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Promote and sell the complete range of Teaching Strategies' products and services within early childhood markets.
β’ Identify, direct, and facilitate sales opportunities while collaborating with internal teams for support.
β’ Enhance existing marketplace success and expand market share through a consultative, collaborative customer approach.
β’ Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Teaching Strategies' offerings, services, and the competitive landscape in early childhood development.
β’ Meet established sales revenue goals for the designated territory.
β’ Assist in the formulation and execution of strategic sales plans.
β’ Discover and fulfill customer needs by fostering collaborative relationships and delivering effective solutions.
β’ Engage in new license and renewal/upsell campaigns, as well as marketing initiatives.
β’ Qualify leads and manage the entire sales cycle, including client interactions, sales presentations, exhibits, and conferences.
β’ Strategically and creatively manage the opportunity pipeline.
β’ Utilize Salesforce to monitor pipeline and sales advancements.
β’ Preserve customer relationships and relay customer feedback effectively.
β’ Maintain regular communication with the manager, sales team, and clients within the territory.
β’ Follow up on communications via phone and email while documenting sales activities.
β’ Travel strategically to client locations throughout the assigned territory as required.
β’ Attend occasional in-person meetings with teams, departments, and the company within the domestic arena.
β’ 2-4 years of inside sales experience with a proven success record; experience in education and/or technology sales is highly preferred; prior sales experience with private childcare organizations is a plus.
β’ Proficiency in conducting market analysis and managing a sales pipeline.
β’ Bachelor's degree.
β’ Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is strongly desired.
β’ Capability to adjust work schedules to accommodate an assigned territory.
β’ Expertise in essential selling skills including listening, identifying needs, addressing inquiries, proposing solutions, and closing sales.
β’ Proven ability to generate new business and build relationships.
β’ Familiarity with educational frameworks and the ability to sell to multiple decision-makers at various levels is advantageous.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Strong organizational and presentation skills.
