This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Acquire new sales from SME businesses as an independent contributor.
• Provide integrated, tailored travel management solutions to assist corporations in optimizing their travel investments.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key internal stakeholders and partners.
• Establish and nurture senior-level client connections.
• Engage in proactive prospecting and thorough documentation.
• Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with CFOs, Procurement Leaders, and Corporate Travel Managers.
• Present customized solutions, proposals, presentations, and technology demonstrations.
• Clearly communicate how GBT can fulfill the long-term travel management needs of prospects.
• Understand P&L and apply financial knowledge to illustrate the cost benefits of the program.
• Develop and manage a pipeline to meet objectives and targets.
• Clearly express needs and solutions to internal partners and leaders.
• Gain an extensive understanding of the travel management landscape and GBT's value proposition.
• Identify client requirements and configure solutions that provide value and address those needs.
• Acquire knowledge of and sell core GBT products and services.
• Create and deliver persuasive presentations that showcase the benefits of partnering with GBT LLC.
• Monitor new signings during the first 13 months post-activation.
• A minimum of three years of experience surpassing sales targets in a SaaS and/or travel consultative setting.
• Drive new sales from potential clients within a designated territory and expenditure segment.
• Capability to achieve monthly sales, transaction, and Key Performance Indicator targets.
• Advanced skills in pipeline management.
• Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• A competitive, positive, and driven mindset; quick to adapt to varying situations and resilient in the face of setbacks.
• Focus on prospecting, presenting, contracting, implementing accounts, and tracking new signings during the initial 13 months post-activation.
• Networking skills to establish, maintain, and expand business relationships and referral sources, including cold outreach.
• Ability to document and convey the Return On Investment (ROI) of proposed solutions.
• Proficient in gaining prospect commitment and managing objections.
• Capability to overcome objections and resistance from key decision-makers among prospects.
• Innovatively apply rationale to navigate complex barriers presented by prospects.
• Ability to sell with integrity while tracking prospect data in compliance with internal partner business requirements.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the designated territory.
