This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Enhance business potential with approved Parkinson’s disease products currently on the market.
• Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, Advanced Practice Providers, healthcare professionals, nurses, executives, department managers, and support personnel.
• Elevate knowledge on product advantages and risks while raising awareness of therapeutic gaps in line with approved labels.
• Generate new business opportunities, expand existing operations, optimize resource utilization, and boost sales to meet the assigned product portfolio sales objectives.
• Establish and nurture compliant relationships with Parkinson’s advocacy and support organizations.
• Deliver on-label technical and scientific presentations as well as sales calls using sanctioned data and resources.
• Comprehend and address customer requirements, fostering account relationships that benefit both patients and healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with AbbVie field and in-house teams to identify, design, or modify strategies and tactics.
• Act as the primary US Commercial contact for targeted accounts within the designated region.
• Formulate, execute, and communicate strategic and tactical plans for selected accounts.
• Track and report on sales progress while providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Attend and engage in neurology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, and advocacy events, which may occur during evenings or weekends.
• Represent AbbVie and its products at events, fostering relationships and educating attendees about the products.
• Develop territory account strategies, align resources, and modify tactics based on account, customer, and geographic variables.
• Stay informed about clinical, market, and payer advancements related to Parkinson’s disease.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• Over 3 years of experience in Health Science Field or Sales, with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Alternatively, if lacking a degree: over 8 years of Health Science Sales experience, including a minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Strong ability to network and collaborate effectively across various functional areas.
• Exceptional organizational/project management and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders in complex settings.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain these credentials.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and fulfill safe driving standards.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material handling equipment.
