This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Optimize business potential with authorized Parkinson’s disease products currently on the market.
• Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, advanced practice providers, healthcare professionals, nurses, executives, managers, support personnel, advocacy organizations, and patient support networks.
• Enhance education and awareness regarding product advantages, risks, and therapeutic deficiencies in alignment with approved labels.
• Generate new business opportunities, expand current operations, maximize resource use, and boost sales to meet the designated product portfolio sales objectives.
• Provide compliant, on-label technical and scientific presentations along with sales interactions.
• Comprehend and address customer needs while fostering account relationships that benefit both patients and healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with AbbVie field and in-house teams to identify, design, or adapt strategies and tactics.
• Act as the primary US Commercial contact for targeted accounts within the assigned region.
• Develop, execute, and communicate strategic and tactical plans for targeted accounts.
• Track and report sales progress while ensuring regular communication with stakeholders.
• Attend and engage in neurology society meetings, conferences, patient events, support groups, and advocacy functions, which may occur on evenings and weekends.
• Represent AbbVie and the assigned products at events to cultivate relationships and deliver product education.
• Relay key information, updates, and insights to internal stakeholders.
• Formulate business strategies and territory account plans, align resources, and modify tactics as necessary.
• Stay updated on clinical, market, payer, and Parkinson’s disease advancements.
• Complete required training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Position AbbVie as the partner of choice in the Parkinson’s and Neuroscience domains.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is necessary.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Health Science Field or Sales, with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Alternatively, 8+ years of Health Science Sales experience may be accepted, with at least 4 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Capability to effectively network and collaborate across various functional areas.
• Strong organizational, project management, and leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple stakeholders in complex environments.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible for credentials.
• Background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses may be required.
• Must possess the ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
