This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Optimize business potential for AbbVie’s authorized Parkinson’s Disease products.
• Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, Advanced Practice Providers, healthcare practitioners, nurses, executives, managers, and support personnel.
• Inform customers about product advantages, risks, and therapeutic gaps utilizing approved data and resources.
• Generate new business, enhance existing business, and maximize resource utilization to fulfill sales objectives.
• Establish and nurture compliant relationships with Parkinson’s advocacy and support organizations.
• Conduct on-label technical and scientific presentations as well as sales calls.
• Identify and address customer requirements across designated accounts.
• Collaborate with AbbVie field and internal teams to formulate and modify approaches and strategies.
• Act as the primary US Commercial contact for targeted accounts within the assigned region.
• Develop, execute, and communicate strategic and tactical account plans.
• Track and report on sales performance.
• Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in neurology meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, and advocacy events, including occasional evenings or weekends.
• Represent AbbVie and its products at events to foster relationships and enhance product visibility.
• Share critical information and insights with internal stakeholders.
• Formulate territory business strategies, align resources, and adjust tactics as necessary.
• Stay updated on clinical, market, and payer developments concerning Parkinson’s Disease.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and adhere to company, OEC, and Legal policies.
• Fulfill HCIR credentialing requirements for access to facilities and organizations within the assigned territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related discipline preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• 3+ years of Health Science Field or Sales experience, with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• In lieu of a degree: 8+ years of Health Science Sales experience, with a minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Ability to effectively network and collaborate across various functional areas.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders in intricate environments.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing and/or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• May necessitate background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunizations/vaccinations, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses.
• Capability to drive a personal vehicle or company car or truck, or operate powered material-handling equipment.
