This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Optimize business opportunities with approved Parkinson’s Disease products currently on the market.
• Cultivate and sustain strategic connections with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, Advanced Practice Providers, healthcare professionals, nurses, executives, managers, and support personnel.
• Enhance education regarding product advantages and risks while raising awareness about therapeutic gaps in alignment with approved labels.
• Generate new business, expand existing operations, maximize resource utilization, and boost sales to meet the designated sales objectives for the product portfolio.
• Establish and preserve compliant relationships with Parkinson’s advocacy and support organizations.
• Conduct on-label technical and scientific presentations as well as sales calls using authorized data and resources.
• Grasp and address customer needs, fostering account relationships that benefit patients and healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with AbbVie field and internal teams to identify, design, or modify approaches and strategies.
• Act as the primary U.S. Commercial contact with targeted accounts within the assigned region.
• Develop, implement, and communicate strategic and tactical plans for the targeted accounts.
• Track and report sales progress while maintaining communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in neurology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, and advocacy events.
• Represent AbbVie and its assigned products at events to foster relationships and educate on offerings.
• Formulate and execute business strategies and territory account plans, aligning resources and making adjustments as necessary.
• Stay updated on clinical, market, and payer developments related to Parkinson’s Disease.
• Complete all mandated AbbVie training and adhere to company policies as well as OEC/Legal procedures.
• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Health Science Field or Sales, with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Alternatively, 8+ years of Health Science Sales experience, with a minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical sales may substitute for a degree.
• Proven ability to network and collaborate effectively across various functional areas.
• Exceptional organizational/project management and leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple stakeholders within complex environments.
• Meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing, or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment.
• Ability to fulfill necessary background checks, drug screenings, provide proof of immunizations/vaccinations, fingerprinting, and specific licensing as required.
