
Account Executive I/II, Parkinson's Disease

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Optimize business potential with authorized on-market combination products for Parkinson’s disease involving drugs and devices.
• Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, Advanced Practice Providers, healthcare professionals, nurses, executives, department managers, and support personnel.
• Enhance understanding of product advantages and risks while raising awareness of therapeutic gaps in accordance with approved labeling.
• Generate new business opportunities, expand existing operations, maximize resource efficiency, and boost sales to meet the assigned product portfolio sales objectives.
• Establish and uphold compliant relationships with Parkinson’s advocacy organizations, support groups, and other entities aiding patients.
• Provide on-label technical and scientific presentations as well as sales discussions utilizing approved data and resources.
• Comprehend and respond to customer needs while fostering account relationships that benefit both patients and healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with AbbVie field and internal teams to identify, create, or modify strategies and tactics.
• Act as the primary US Commercial contact for designated accounts within the assigned region.
• Develop, implement, and communicate strategic and tactical initiatives for targeted accounts.
• Track and report sales progress while ensuring regular communications with stakeholders.
• Attend and engage in neurology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, and advocacy events.
• Represent AbbVie and its assigned products at events to foster relationships and provide on-label product education.
• Relay key information, updates, and insights to internal stakeholders.
• Formulate and execute business strategies and territory account plans, align resources, and modify tactics as necessary.
• Stay informed on clinical, market, payer, and Parkinson’s Disease advancements.
• Complete mandatory training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• A Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in Health Science Field or Sales.
• A minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical sales is required.
• In the absence of a degree: 8+ years of experience in Health Science Sales with at least 4 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Proven ability to effectively network and collaborate across various functional areas.
• Exceptional organizational/project management capabilities and demonstrated leadership experience.
• Established track record of managing multiple stakeholders in complex settings.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain these credentials.
• Background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific licenses mandated by individual states or cities may be necessary.
• Must operate a personal vehicle, company car, or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment.
