
Account Executive I/II – Parkinson's Disease

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Optimize business opportunities for approved Parkinson's Disease products.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, Advanced Practice Providers, healthcare professionals, nurses, executives, managers, and support staff.
• Enhance product education, raise awareness of therapeutic gaps, drive business development, current business growth, resource utilization, and sales performance.
• Develop and sustain compliant relationships with Parkinson's advocacy and support organizations.
• Conduct on-label technical and scientific presentations and sales discussions utilizing approved data and resources.
• Comprehend and address customer needs while fostering account relationships that benefit patients and healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with AbbVie field and internal teams to devise suitable approaches and tactics.
• Act as the primary US Commercial contact for targeted accounts within the designated geography.
• Formulate, execute, and communicate strategic and tactical account plans.
• Track and report sales progress while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Attend and engage in neurology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, and advocacy events.
• Represent AbbVie and designated products at events to cultivate relationships and provide compliant product education.
• Convey key information and insights to internal stakeholders.
• Develop territory and account business strategies, align resources, and modify tactics as necessary.
• Stay updated on clinical, market, and payer developments concerning Parkinson's Disease.
• Complete mandatory training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience required.
• Over 3 years of experience in Health Science Field or Sales, including at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Alternatively, 8+ years of Health Science Sales experience, including a minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical sales, may suffice in place of a degree.
• Proven ability to network and collaborate effectively across various functional areas.
• Exceptional organizational/project management and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Established track record of managing multiple stakeholders in complex environments.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses may be required.
• Capability to operate a personal auto or company vehicle.
