This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Optimize business prospects for approved Parkinson’s disease drug-device combination products currently available in the market.
• Cultivate and sustain strategic relationships with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, advanced practice providers, healthcare professionals, nurses, executives, managers, and support personnel.
• Enhance understanding of product advantages and risks, raise awareness about therapeutic gaps, and drive business development, resource utilization, and sales efforts.
• Establish compliant partnerships with Parkinson’s advocacy and support organizations.
• Deliver on-label technical and scientific presentations and make sales calls utilizing approved data and resources.
• Comprehend and address customer requirements while fostering account relationships that benefit both patients and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with AbbVie’s field and internal teams to identify, design, and refine strategies and tactics.
• Act as the primary US Commercial representative for targeted accounts within the designated region.
• Develop, execute, and communicate strategic and tactical plans for targeted accounts.
• Track and report on sales progress while communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Attend and engage in neurology meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, and advocacy events, including some evenings and weekends.
• Represent AbbVie and the assigned products at events, ensuring compliant, on-label discussions regarding the products.
• Formulate and execute territory business strategies and account plans, align resources, and modify tactics as necessary.
• Stay informed about clinical, market, payer, and Parkinson’s disease advancements.
• Complete AbbVie training and uphold company, OEC, and Legal compliance.
• Position AbbVie as the partner of choice in Parkinson’s and Neuroscience among healthcare professionals and patient organizations.
• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Health Science Field or Sales, with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales.
• Alternatively, 8+ years of Health Science Sales experience, including at least 4 years in pharmaceutical sales, can be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Capability to effectively network and collaborate across various functional areas.
• Exceptional organizational/project management skills and proven leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple stakeholders in complex environments.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving criteria.
• Must fulfill applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing, or eligible to obtain such credentials.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material handling equipment.
• Must complete necessary training and adhere to company policies as well as OEC/Legal procedures.
