This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
⢠Manage all facets of account management for designated institutional accounts.
⢠Create and implement strategic account plans to enhance sales and increase market share.
⢠Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in neurology and urology departments, as well as hospital systems.
⢠Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and pursue account opportunities.
⢠Provide strategic and tactical guidance to regional and district teams concerning target accounts.
⢠Inform sales and marketing management about challenges and opportunities present within critical accounts.
⢠Evaluate team learning requirements and coordinate specialized training.
⢠Formulate annual business plans with specific goals and objectives across FDA-approved indications.
⢠Recognize local opportunities and threats, and adjust business plans as necessary.
⢠Anticipate changes in customer needs and market conditions, taking proactive measures accordingly.
⢠Analyze financial and quantitative data to evaluate profitability and sales impact.
⢠Collaborate with Field Sales Managers to assess and penetrate institutional account drivers.
⢠Conduct account-level analysis to identify opportunities and propose actions to increase volume and market share.
⢠Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
⢠Engage with neurology, urology, pain, and movement centers, teaching hospitals, IDNs, VA hospitals, DoD hospitals, and other institutional accounts.
⢠Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience required.
⢠Minimum of 3 years of experience in health science field or sales, including at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales.
⢠In lieu of a degree: 8+ years of health science sales experience, including at least 4 years in pharmaceutical sales.
⢠Proficiency in networking and partnering effectively across various functional areas.
⢠Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
⢠Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
⢠Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders within complex environments.
⢠Must meet all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.
⢠Must be in good standing and/or eligible to acquire necessary HCIR credentials.
⢠Must fulfill applicable background check, drug screening, immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific state or city license requirements.
⢠Capability to operate a personal or company vehicle/equipment, as necessary.
⢠Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
