This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts within Philadelphia and its neighboring regions.
• Implement advanced sales strategies by breaking down long-term territorial objectives into specific milestones.
• Leverage new prospects while enhancing revenue from existing accounts.
• Establish partnerships with senior executives and convey complex security frameworks to both technical and non-technical decision-makers.
• Lead the scoping, negotiation, and finalization of intricate financial and technical agreements.
• Maintain a deep understanding of SaaS and cybersecurity markets.
• Clearly communicate competitive advantages and identify growth opportunities within potential architectures.
• Anticipate business challenges and develop risk-mitigation plans during uncertain sales cycles.
• Facilitate cross-functional strategy meetings with Sales Engineering.
• Create customized solution demonstrations that address vulnerabilities of enterprise customers.
• Coordinate with Customer Success, Sales Operations, and Channel Ecosystems for effective account onboarding and sustained customer value.
• Propel regional growth by aligning Rapid7’s cybersecurity capabilities with the business objectives of prospects with over 1000 employees.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in technology sales within cloud or SaaS environments.
• Background in cybersecurity solutions.
• At least 3 years of direct experience in enterprise field sales.
• A documented record of consistently meeting or surpassing revenue targets.
• Ability to develop and navigate commercial networks involving enterprise technology executives and regional channel stakeholders.
• Proficiency in understanding complex product releases and adapting market strategies in response to changing business priorities.
• Strong analytical decision-making skills for unconventional deal cycles.
• Highly polished and persuasive communication skills across both in-person and virtual environments.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for vital customer engagements.
• Candidates must reside in the Greater Philadelphia or Greater Boston metropolitan areas.
