
Account Executive, Endoscopic – GI Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Generate sales revenue and enhance market share within the designated regional territory.
• Seek new business opportunities and devise innovative strategies for acquiring clients.
• Execute strategic business plans aimed at achieving a 10% annual increase in market share.
• Conduct clinical demonstrations for qualified target accounts and pursue opportunities through successful closures.
• Coordinate pre-demonstration activities with the Clinical Sales Specialist.
• Cultivate existing customer accounts through regular calls, product demonstrations, product in-services, and positive customer interactions.
• Build relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, biomedical personnel, materials management, hospital administration, and external consultants.
• Train customers on the proper use of equipment in clinical environments.
• Provide educational resources in the field.
• Become proficient in reprocessing techniques mandated by AER manufacturers.
• Assist VIP customers as directed by management.
• Collaborate with Product Development on clinical assessments of prototypes and product enhancements.
• Submit weekly and/or monthly reports to the direct supervisor.
• Provide monthly sales forecasts.
• Maintain customer data for future database integration.
• Attend local, regional, and national trade shows.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
• Cover the entire St. Louis/Southern Illinois territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related quantitative field.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of field sales experience is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in various situations.
• Capability to thrive in fast-paced, competitive settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills essential for developing customer relationships.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Competence in MS Outlook and other email applications.
• Professional communication skills with both internal and external customers.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to regional budget constraints.
• Capacity to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Skill in writing reports and conveying information accurately and promptly.
• Proficiency in prioritizing customer needs.
• Ability to speak in front of small groups.
• Competence in delivering technical information clearly and concisely.
• Understanding of basic mathematical principles for discount calculations.
• Capability to sit for 75–100% of applicable work hours.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, for up to 100% of applicable work time.
• Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 25–50 pounds for up to 20% of applicable work time and as necessary.
• Close vision capability at twenty inches or less.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time, including field and corporate office travel.
• Ability for overnight travel up to 50%, including occasional weekends.
• Must comply with U.S. FDA medical-device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 standards, and relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Must meet and pass vendor-credentialing requirements for access to hospitals and facilities.
• Must be willing to periodically undergo COVID-19 testing and wear a face covering indoors as required.
