This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Generate sales revenue by engaging directly with potential customers in the designated territory.
• Promote core products within target customer accounts.
• Sustain existing customer accounts and cultivate a robust customer reference base.
• Educate the market about the advantages of the products.
• Build networks with partner representatives providing non-competitive products to the same clientele.
• Stay informed about competitive products and their market positioning.
• Attain a 10% annual growth in market share.
• Drive sales revenue and enhance market share within the regional territory.
• Seek out new business opportunities and create innovative approaches to acquiring business.
• Execute strategic business plans effectively.
• Lead clinical demonstrations for qualified target accounts through to the closing stage.
• Coordinate pre-demonstration activities with the Clinical Sales Specialist.
• Foster customer accounts through regular calls, product demonstrations, in-services, and positive engagement.
• Build relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, biomedical personnel, materials management personnel, hospital administration, and external consultants.
• Train customers on the proper usage of equipment in clinical environments.
• Provide educational resources in the field.
• Become knowledgeable in reprocessing techniques required by AER manufacturers.
• Support VIP customers as instructed by management.
• Collaborate with Product Development on clinical evaluations of prototypes and product enhancements.
• Submit weekly and/or monthly reports to the direct supervisor.
• Provide monthly sales forecasts.
• Maintain customer data for future database integration.
• Attend local, regional, and national trade shows as needed.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related quantitative fields, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of field sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in various situations.
• Capacity to thrive in fast-paced, competitive settings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for establishing strong customer relationships.
• Proficient in computer operations, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with MS Outlook and other email platforms.
• Professional communication skills with both internal and external customers.
• Capability to manage time and regional budget constraints effectively.
• Proficient in multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to write reports and communicate information accurately and promptly.
• Skill in prioritizing customer needs.
• Comfort in speaking before small groups.
• Ability to convey technical information accurately and succinctly.
• Understanding of basic mathematical principles for discount calculations.
• Ability to sit for 75–100% of relevant work time.
• Skill in using hands and fingers to handle items, including keyboards, for up to 100% of relevant work time.
• Ability to stand, talk, and listen for 75% of relevant work time.
• Capacity to lift and transport large equipment weighing between 25–50 pounds for up to 20% of relevant work time as required.
• Close vision capabilities for distances of twenty inches or less.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time, including fieldwork and visits to corporate offices.
• Availability for overnight travel up to 50%, including weekends on occasion.
• Compliance with vendor credentialing requirements to access hospitals and facilities.
• Adherence to applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 standards, and other relevant laws and regulations.
• Compliance with COVID-19 testing and face-covering mandates as applicable.
• Successful completion of facility vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination prerequisites.
