This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Lead the strategic expansion of business and collaboration initiatives with prominent U.S. cancer centers, clinics, leading oncology practices, key opinion leaders, and academic medical institutions.
• Develop structured strategic plans aimed at acquiring and retaining both new and existing clients.
• Optimize client-bill contracting opportunities.
• Execute laboratory services agreements with billing account organizations.
• Partner with sales leadership and sales teams to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities between prospective oncology clients and Guardant Health.
• Encourage the adoption and adherence to web-based molecular information tools.
• Evaluate the competitive landscape and assigned accounts to detect trends and relay customer insights to leadership.
• Track sales performance to ensure goals are achieved.
• Create and implement a thorough territory business plan that includes budgets, travel, territory management, and goal setting.
• Collaborate across various departments within Guardant Health.
• Embody and represent Guardant Health's culture to both internal and external stakeholders.
• 2-3 years of direct account management experience in a molecular diagnostic environment with a proven track record of performance.
• 3-5 years of experience collaborating with major cancer centers and clinics, oncology GPOs, large health systems, IDNs, and extensive oncology practices.
• Proven ability to generate measurable revenue in a diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or relevant biotechnology organization.
• Capability to provide an integrated MolDx solution utilizing next-generation sequencing technology.
• Experience in consultative selling, including overcoming objections and aligning client needs with company capabilities.
• Proficiency in communicating, presenting, and selling at the executive level.
• Knowledge of the payer and reimbursement landscape in oncology and diagnostics.
• Ability to work autonomously, communicate proactively, manage various projects, prioritize daily tasks, and meet urgent deadlines.
• Strong comprehension of molecular diagnostics in oncology and the competitive landscape.
• Familiarity with oncology, hematology, chemotherapeutics, and targeted agents.
• Exceptional negotiation and customer service abilities.
• Strategic skills in sales account planning.
• Proficient listening, problem-solving, oral, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Capacity to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Consistent success in closing deals throughout the sales cycle.
• Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Regular usage of Salesforce.com.
• Ability to foster and utilize cross-functional relationships.
• Capacity to work effectively with minimal managerial direction.
• Administrative expertise to navigate business in complex settings.
• Frequent travel exceeding 50% across the territory.
• Background screening, including criminal history, is mandatory.
• A B.S. in life science, biology, business, or marketing is preferred.
• Ability to critically assess and responsibly utilize AI-enabled tools in line with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
