This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Create and implement a growth strategy focused on increasing fiber expansion and maximizing revenue.
• Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, market analysis, industry events, cold outreach, and strategic account planning.
• Establish trusted advisor relationships with developers, builders, ownership groups, property management firms, HOAs, consultants, and key decision-makers.
• Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and discovery to proposal development, contract negotiation, execution, and implementation.
• Engage in executive-level discovery discussions to comprehend customer objectives, operational priorities, resident experience goals, and long-term asset strategies.
• Present compelling business cases that articulate financial value, return on investment, and Brightspeed’s fiber solutions.
• Negotiate and finalize Exclusive Marketing Agreements, Bulk Agreements, SmartMDU opportunities, Building Access Agreements, Right-of-Entry agreements, and other strategic partnership contracts.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success teams.
• Oversee project milestones and construction timelines to ensure successful deployments and readiness for initial occupancy.
• Position Brightspeed competitively through market knowledge and strategic differentiation.
• Represent Brightspeed at industry events, customer meetings, and within the local real estate and development sectors.
• Meet assigned sales, contract, and unit targets.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline through consistent prospecting and opportunity development.
• Provide accurate forecasting, CRM discipline, and effective pipeline management.
• Focus on strategic opportunities that enhance long-term fiber growth within the designated territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or relevant experience.
• 3-5+ years of consultative B2B sales experience with a proven track record of surpassing sales targets.
• Proven success in developing new business through strategic prospecting and hunting efforts.
• Excellent executive presentation, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to influence multiple stakeholders throughout intricate sales processes.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including the ability to simplify ROI, pricing strategies, and long-term partnership value.
• Exceptional organizational skills with disciplined pipeline management and forecasting precision.
• Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in managing CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within an assigned territory.
• Preferred: experience in selling fiber, broadband, telecommunications, technology infrastructure, or similar solutions.
• Preferred: familiarity with multifamily housing, real estate developers, home builders, or commercial real estate organizations.
• Preferred: experience negotiating commercial agreements and forming strategic partnerships.
• Preferred: understanding of new construction, development lifecycles, or community infrastructure projects.
