This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive the acquisition of new customers while meeting an assigned iACV quota.
• Take ownership of analytical and consultative sales cycles for Twilio's messaging, voice, and email solutions.
• Secure business in competitive vendor sourcing cycles.
• Comprehend customers’ business and technical needs and design solutions utilizing Twilio’s communications API platform.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Pricing, and Operations to create mutually beneficial contracts.
• Present contractual, technical, and financial information to potential clients.
• Balance competing priorities while managing multiple projects and deals.
• Develop long-term territory strategies and sales plans in conjunction with sales, services, product, and finance teams.
• Advocate for customer needs to Twilio’s product and carrier relations teams.
• Keep abreast of CPaaS industry initiatives and capabilities.
• Generate and maintain precise pipeline and forecasts utilizing Salesforce.
• Stay updated on industry developments and share best practices with peers.
• Travel approximately 25% for customer engagement and relationship-building meetings.
• Occasionally travel for project or team in-person meetings.
• 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience.
• At least 1 year of experience managing or leading highly analytical products or solutions for clients.
• Proven experience in directly selling technical SaaS or CPaaS solutions.
• Experience in outbound prospecting within existing accounts and greenfield prospecting for new clients.
• Background in executing QBR strategies for territory penetration.
• Technical solution selling experience with actual customers.
• Ability to collaborate with both business and highly technical leadership.
• Analytical approach to account development strategy using data to uncover opportunities and demonstrate value.
• Proven track record in managing business forecasts and financial models.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to define processes and create programs.
• History of delivering market-driven results to scale and enterprise customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
