This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Acquire, sustain, service, market, and expand the company’s insurance portfolio.
• Assist clients in securing and renewing suitable and competitive insurance coverage.
• Manage client relationships, including administration, marketing, customer service, and accounts receivable.
• Oversee carrier appointments, audits, memos, and updates.
• Handle middle-market commercial lines accounts effectively.
• Prepare submissions for new and renewal accounts and present proposals to clients.
• Supervise quality control and compliance initiatives.
• Draft change requests and initiate new account files.
• Invoice agency-bill transactions and assist with collections processes.
• Resolve disputes arising from audits and manage cancellations.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for upcoming policy expirations.
• Process requests for ID cards, evidence of property, certificates of insurance, binders, policies, and other related documents.
• Assess exposures and risks, select suitable markets, obtain and negotiate quotes, and interpret coverage details.
• Suggest additional coverage based on the specific needs of clients.
• Delegate tasks to administrative assistants as necessary.
• Oversee account activity, receivables, renewals, and expirations efficiently.
• Act as a liaison between carriers and clients regarding complaints, claims, and grievances.
• Manage Exclusive Office Program policies in real-time.
• Address inquiries from the management team and implement corrective actions.
• Mitigate potential Errors & Omissions exposure through quality reviews and necessary adjustments.
• Provide management with account activity status updates by the next business day when requested.
• Notify team members and executives about incidents that require intervention.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of client activities in AMS360 or Epic.
• Prioritize workload effectively and minimize backlog.
• Engage in special projects and the development of policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on rates, forms, and changes in coverage through ongoing education.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience managing mid-to-large commercial lines accounts.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An active DOI P&C License is necessary.
• Familiarity with AMS360 or Epic system, or a similar agency management system.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance and related products.
• Candidates must reside within the Central Time Zone.
• Must comply with applicable state insurance licensing requirements.
• Must not have been disqualified or barred from licensure.
• Must not have been prohibited from conducting insurance business under Title 18 U.S. Code §§1033 and 1034.
• Capability to prepare submissions, market accounts, and present proposals effectively.
• Understanding of regulatory standards and company policies.
• Ability to review audits, policies, and endorsements.
• Proficiency in managing commercial insurance accounts, renewals, cancellations, receivables, and relationships with carriers.
• Ability to maintain detailed documentation in AMS360 or Epic.
