This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Acquire, sustain, service, promote, and expand the company's insurance portfolio.
• Assist clients in securing or renewing competitive and suitable insurance coverage.
• Manage client relationships encompassing administration, marketing, customer service, and receivables.
• Oversee carrier appointments, audits, memos, and updates.
• Handle middle-market commercial lines accounts.
• Prepare submissions for both new and renewal business.
• Market accounts and develop and deliver proposals, including on-site meetings when necessary.
• Supervise quality control and compliance responsibilities.
• Prepare change requests and review audits, policies, and endorsements for precision.
• Create account files within the agency management system.
• Invoice accounts and assist with collections efforts.
• Address carrier audit disputes.
• Formulate and execute marketing strategies for upcoming expirations.
• Manage account cancellations and mediate associated issues or disputes.
• Process requests for ID cards, evidence of property, certificates of insurance, binders, policies, and related documents.
• Assess account exposure and risk, selecting appropriate carriers and markets.
• Obtain quotes, negotiate coverage terms, and clarify coverage for clients.
• Evaluate and recommend additional coverage based on the needs of clients.
• Delegate tasks to administrative assistants.
• Keep team members updated on account activities.
• Oversee receivables, renewals, and expirations.
• Act as a liaison with carriers and clients concerning complaints, claims, and grievances.
• Manage Exclusive Office Program policies in real-time.
• Respond to management team inquiries and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain documentation in AMS360 or Epic.
• Engage in special projects and the development of policies/procedures.
• Stay informed on rates, forms, and coverage changes through ongoing education.
• Participate in seminars and classes for continuous professional development.
• At least 10 years of experience managing mid-to-large commercial lines accounts.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Active DOI P&C License is required.
• Familiarity with AMS360 OR Epic system or a comparable agency management system.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance and related products.
• Candidates must reside in the Central Time Zone.
• Must comply with state insurance licensing requirements.
• Must not have been disqualified or barred from licensure.
• Must not be prohibited from conducting insurance business under Title 18 U.S. Code, §§1033 and 1034.
