This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee a designated geographic territory, providing Lab Diagnostic products, services, and solutions to both new and existing clients.
• Assume complete responsibility for accounts located in the Fresno and Santa Barbara regions.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets set for the designated territory.
• Act as the primary and sole point of contact for customer inquiries and requirements.
• Manage product lines and diagnostic business units, gaining insights into product features and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with internal team members and stakeholders, including specialists, Health System Executives, and finance, as well as service and technical applications teams.
• Create and expand a pipeline of potential, competitive, and current customers.
• Conduct business reviews and revise account plans in response to market dynamics, wins/losses, customer circumstances, and competitive movements.
• Present customer business reviews to ensure alignment on the market landscape, maintain market position, and pinpoint growth prospects.
• Sustain and enhance capital equipment and diagnostic reagent sales across Lab Diagnostics product categories.
• Increase share of wallet through competitive conversions, menu expansions, and opportunities for additional assays.
• Keep internal sales and data analytics tools up to date, including CRM systems and quoting processes.
• Proven history of success in leading commercial teams within the med tech industry, particularly in the laboratory diagnostics sector.
• Experience in developing account-level deal strategies (Miller Heiman) and coordinating teams to implement action plans.
• Exceptional relationship management abilities with a demonstrated capacity to serve accounts effectively.
• Capability to collaborate within a matrixed organization and utilize available resources efficiently.
• Solid understanding of product lines, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical diagnostic sales, corporate accounts, or hospital purchasing roles.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Candidates must reside in their assigned territory.
• A valid driver’s license in the state of residence is required.
• Candidates must not have any prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending charges, or other significant moving violations unless prohibited by state/local law.
• Must comply with relevant client Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may involve valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screenings, immunizations, annual TB tests, and healthcare training.
