This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Lead the growth initiatives within Planet Technologies' Department of War portfolio.
• Drive expansion efforts with military services, defense agencies, and strategic mission partners.
• Oversee executive relationships, business development, portfolio management, and market strategy.
• Accelerate modernization efforts focused on Microsoft technologies across the Department of War ecosystem.
• Establish new relationships and strengthen existing partnerships with strategic clients.
• Manage comprehensive client relationships from start to finish.
• Collaborate with the Federal Growth Office to enhance sales initiatives across key Department of War accounts.
• Achieve annual revenue and margin targets, aiming for over 10% growth year-over-year.
• Formulate strategic direction for Department of War clients and contribute to the broader organizational strategy.
• Evaluate, validate, and qualify new business opportunities within the Department of Defense marketplace.
• Work collaboratively across teams on tactical initiatives and long-term strategic solutions.
• Build and sustain relationships with prime contractors and subcontractor partners.
• Present insights and lead discussions with mid-level managers and senior executives.
• Drive annual bookings, revenue growth, customer expansion, strategic partner development, and portfolio profitability.
• 15+ years of experience supporting the Department of War or Federal civilian agencies through IT services, consulting, systems integration, cloud, or digital modernization programs.
• 10+ years of experience in leading growth, account management, capture, delivery, or portfolio operations within Federal markets.
• 5+ years of experience managing financial performance, forecasting, pipeline development, or P&L management.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 15 years of experience providing IT services to the US Federal government.
• 15 years of experience managing and driving strategy for large, diverse teams and complex projects within the Department of War space.
• At least 5 years of experience in P&L management, financial forecasting, invoicing and contract management, proposal development, and deal/pursuit management.
• Experience in delivering complex and varied technical solutions, including those related to Microsoft technologies.
• Proven ability to establish lasting relationships at the Federal CXO level and to engage with new administration officials.
• In-depth understanding of the federal procurement process with a successful track record in expanding programs and securing new business within that framework.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• US Citizenship may be necessary for positions requiring federal agency clearance.
